I love working with children, teens, and families! I graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.S. in Psychology and later graduated from Colorado State University with a Master's in Occupational Therapy. I am nationally board certified and licensed in the state of Georgia. I am experienced in working with children and teens with a variety of diagnoses including autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental delay, down syndrome, trisomy x, mood disorders, coordination disorders, sensory integration difficulties, and feeding difficulties. I gained invaluable experience working at Children's Hospital Colorado in the outpatient clinic and with children receiving inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. I have experience being part of multidisciplinary evaluation teams, consulting with schools and teachers, and providing individual treatment and group sessions. I am a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association. I believe in focusing on functional goals to help kids and teens engage successfully in everyday activities. I am excited now to call Georgia my home (again) and look forward to meeting you!
I LOVE being an occupational therapist! I also love being a mom!
When I'm not getting messy in shaving cream drawings or getting serious with my paper cutting skills, you can find me at home in my yoga pants with my two littles, rocking out to Taylor Swift, reading The Berenstain Bears, and playing outside!
